I would say that everybody likes traveling, this is something that people enjoy and love doing. Traveling has different approaches according to the places one visits, means of transportation, age, purpose, duration, budget, etc.
In any case, travelers enjoy, learn, meet new people, share with friends and family, and some others like to travel alone. Vacations are never enough. In my case, I would like to have more opportunities to visit new places, for me it is better to visit Mexico rather than other places in the world.

During my childhood I used to travel with my parents, sister and brother. My dad liked Acapulco a lot and I think that was the hot spot. I really enjoyed going to Acapulco. We would also visit small towns on weekends near Mexico City such as “La Marquesa”, “Cuautla”, and “Teotihuacan”. My dad was a good driver and he liked for us to visit and taste the food of each place. We also used to go by plane to Cancun or Puerto Vallarta; traveling by plane was fun and exciting.
When I was a teenager I missedsome vacations with my parents because I preferred to stay with my friends rather than going with mom and dad.
In my teens I traveled with my mom to Monterrey by train, and I enjoyed that a lot.
When I started working as an IT consultant, I traveled alone for business, but I did my best to visit new places as well as, the most representative buildings, establishments to eat or historical important landmarks. I really enjoyed traveling alone and meeting people from other countries, cultures and very amazing locations.
Then I became a mom and things changed for me, my priority was my daughter’s comfort and joy. All inclusive hotels were the best option to travel with a small girl. That was not a lot of fun for me but it was the best for her.
When she grew up, we traveled to Tabasco and Chiapas and that was an amazing experience. We visited new and magical places, learned about their customs, and met really interesting people.
Road trips are one of the activities I enjoy most. I have traveled different roads either with my daughter, a close friend or sometimes as a romantic adventure. I love driving through magical towns and historic cities located in Zacatecas, Yucatan, Quintana Roo, Michoacan. The longest road I’ve driven was from Queretaro to Mazatlan.
Adventure also includes driving until night and trying to find a place to sleep overnight, eating at places you have never been to and you probably won’t go back to again.
Mexico has lots of natural landscapes, cenotes, and painfully beautiful lakes, lagoons, and rivers that make you feel as if you were in a fairy tale.
Last December we visited Los Cabos. It was the first time I had been there, and I drove to “Todos Santos” town to visit the Hotel California
I think my life’s to-do list has just been travelinginside and outside Mexico. My top choices are Chepe in Chihuahua, Oaxaca City and a road trip I made from Puerto Escondido to Huatulco and of course Zipolite. I have just visited Huatulco and I loved the place; so peaceful, clean, andfriendly.
In terms of traveling abroad I would like to visit Machu Picchu, Peru, Colombia, Italy, Spain, Greece, Canada, and the UK. I hope I get to do it and continue to be surprised each and every time.
