Hello Beautiful People!
How are you doing? How is this new year treating you so far? We are nearly through January 2026, and I hope you’ve all found a rhythm that feels good.

It’s me, Miss Mercy, saying hello once again! As usual, when I sit down to write this, I’m not quite sure what to talk about… but then I looked at my suitcase, my calendar, and realized I had a story to tell.
A New Chapter: Beyond the Classroom
Most of you know me as an English teacher, a role I hold very dear to my heart. But lately, my world has expanded in the most literal sense! Nowadays, I’m wearing a second hat: I’m a Corporate Trainer for a company that specializes in credit-based products.
Transitioning from a traditional classroom to training in a corporate setting was a big jump, but here is the best part: this job has given me the wings to travel. The Joy of the “Work-Trip” Lifestyle I’ve been spending my weeks visiting different corners of our beautiful country. There is something so revitalizing about waking up in a new city, seeing how people live in different regions, and realizing that the world is much bigger than our own front porch.
But it’s not just about sightseeing. What I’ve realized is that this job allows me to combine my two greatest loves:

Teaching: I’m still sharing knowledge, helping people grow, and facilitating learning—just in a different environment.
Adventure: I get to satisfy that “itch” to explore new places without having to wait for a once-a-year vacation.
The Lesson: Choose What Makes You Happy
I guess what I really want to share with you all today is the importance of choosing things in life that make you happy. For a long time, we are told that “work is work” and “fun is fun,” and the two rarely meet. But why settle for that? By stepping into this new role, I’ve found a way to blend my professional skills with my personal need for adventure. It’s a reminder that we aren’t stuck in one lane. We are allowed to evolve, to try new industries, and to look for careers that don’t just pay the bills, but also feed our spirits.
When you enjoy what you do, you don’t just “survive” the work week—you actually live it.
Over to You…
I feel so grateful to be on this journey, and I want that same feeling for all of you.
And to close this blog, tell me!! What about you? Are you doing something this year that makes your heart beat a little faster? Have you discovered a new hobby or a career path that lets you see the world differently?
Tell me in the comments about your new adventures ! Let’s make 2026 the year we stop waiting for “someday” and start choosing happiness right now.
With all my love,
Miss Mercy
