Being Grateful

How often do we acknowledge our loved ones?

By Mercedes Aguilar

We live in a world that moves so fast. Most of the time we don’t ever really stop to think about our loved ones or even ourselves. In past blogs we have talked about self-love, self-recognition and self-care, however on this occasion we are going to talk about our loved ones, our friends and people we care about.

As you know, Miss Dani is super mindful and she always tries to be in the moment, in the present, with the person or people she’s with. She’s a constant reminder of how to always be where you want to be and where you actually are. LIVE THE MOMENT everyone & ENJOY LIFE! As I mentioned before and we

all know, it’s easy for us to get lost and to forget about our loved ones; we take them for granted and we don’t show them our love. When was the last time you showed your love to someone? A long time ago?

We love to be spoiled, feel loved, feel important and see that people are happy because we get to be in their lives. But, when was the last time you did something special for someone? Do you have an answer? If it was recent, that’s wonderful, but if you answered, a long time ago, take this as a reminder. Do not take people for granted, make them feel special, treat them as you’d like to be treated. And you

don’t have to go big; share a coffee, send them a special text, tell them how much you love them, buy some flowers, a small chocolate, it’s the thought that makes a big difference, you know? And if someone does it for you, say thank you and let yourself be and feel special, because we all are.

Take a moment to slow down, make someone happy, be kind and be present. We never know if that person needs to be or feel cared for, make their day, because one day you may be the lucky one.

I have a really long list of people who I care about and feel blessed to have in my life. What about you? Who are you grateful for?

Thanks for being with me and my thoughts today. I just want to say that you’re so loved and special, maybe not by me if we haven’t had the pleasure of meeting yet, but if we have, then, be sure that you are.

Have a wonderful day.  Love you all.

Miss Mercy.
